Since when was assault with a deadly weapon smart? Thing with that is someone could have popped him one right in the face when he had his gun out and it would have been self defense. Maybe someone aught to have a loaded weapon out there just in case this happens again?

NO GUNS AT MEETS. Shit...as long as the management/cops know we're not the ones causing problems, they'll be cool and cooperative. If they thing we're going to start bringing guns, they're gonna search every car, ban us, etc. Why not be observant and on the lookout for trouble and if anything does happen, call the cops.
Oh, and finding out who this idiot was that pulled the gun would still be a good idea.
