lol. I like the car, so does my fiancee. I'm pretty sure that's all that's important.
You guys keep trying to diagnose this shit as if there's something mysterious going on. I just posted because I was bored, and something cool happened, just like last time. Honestly, here are the facts from my point of view...
1. I bought the stang for 46k, yes.
2. Yes, I did know the guy I bought it from.
3. I know exactly how much he made on commission, yes.
4. I don't understand why you guys honestly ...give a shit...
5. If you wanted a car like this, you could buy it for way less than 46k, correct.
6. I did have to get an automatic, Chivalry is not dead...many people just lack it apparently.
& 7. I didn't let any dealership "talk me out of anything" I decided I was going to buy from the dearlership which treated me appropriately.
I'm still getting a z06. I'm just going to worry about one thing at a time, and finish the camaro, yes, I still have the z28, and once again, no, I don't understand why you care.

...So I'm agreeing with you all, and I'm saying If I was a normal kid, who had no money, and was in the military, I'd go to my friend at the dealership, and ask him to help me out. Because I'm a good friend, and if any of you, put yourself in the place of a dealer, I think you'd appreciate the break of a good commission. I'm not an asshole who demands to be treated nicely. If I'm not treated nicely, I have the money go elsewhere.

So anyways. COX is GOOD, It's here faster than I expected, and I'd LOVE to play some Beerpong online, with this new 'super care free' setup. -_-

Let me see if I can put this in simple terms...
You paid $46K for a car that MSRPs for around $26-27k. That means you paid about $20K more then the car was worth brand new.
Just so we can compare and contrast...the brand new Shelby vert I looked at this weekend was stickered at $47K. You basically paid for a Shelby when you bought your GT.
So explain to us why you felt the need to pay so much. You really can't be that fucking stupid. At least tell us that the salesman had naked pics of you with a 13 year old boy and a donkey with a raging hard on and forced you to pay that much

Hey i signed up for that street sponserships thing and i just finished up a full build on a d16 z6 sohc vtec motor with y8 head well anyway its fully built top end bottem and and tranny and after break in this week it will be turboed at about 15 ppounds of boost.... well i explained this to them and sent pics of my car and they said when i finish it if i can hit mid to low 13's they would send me 625 bucks for the hondata s300 system i already purchsed and if i decide to get it tuned somewhere besidews my back yard lol they said they would cover the price of tuning also.... i belive its legit and i hope to see what happens
