Virginia Motorsports Park is a 1/4 mile strip in Petersburg, 90 miles from Chesapeake. Test and Tune is when you get to run down the track trying to get your best time and tune your car to get your best time. You arent racing against anyone else in any offical race.

Ok back from VMP. Nice weather out and got to make serveral passes.
Ran a best of 12.903@105.5 with a 1.87 60'. Traction was the issue. I had to learn how to feather the throttle just right out of the hole not to spin everywhere. I gotta get some slicks so I can mash the throttle.

yea, had fun even though i got up there late.....
ran a best of 14.2@95 with 2.3 60'
felt i could of brought it out of the hole harder, but only got about 4 runs in.

launched at 5k on hankook ventus tires.....195/45/17's
wasnt a traction issue, just felt like i could of slipped he clutch a lil quicker.....im happy with a 14.2 though.....should get better times next time i go.....been over a year since last time i went with a whole new setup

Had a blast, made 11 runs, but the best I could manage was 14.2@95.04 with 2.07 at 60'.
