No, I'm on my parents plan it's $2600 every 6 mo. for the 3 cars we own and all of the drivers. All other ins.comp. were charging $3500-$5200 every 6 months. But, in a few months when I change the policy over to me, I have the multi-line discount which includes life ins. so my ins. will be the same or a little lower.

 

my parents have always paid for my insurance, but that is all. ive paid for all repairs, all mods, gas, and the car itself. im 19 and ive gotten 3 tickets, 2 were moving though. basically the agreement between me and my parents were if i get a ticket i pay it and if insurance goes up, i pay the difference. we'll see how long i can hold onto that deal

 

that sucks that you had to sell it bud....if you were at least 18 i would hook you up with a job so you could cover your lifestyle. keep your head up, and try to get in your parents good graces so that you get more freebies from them.

 

I, as many others, also paid for my car, mods, insurance, gas, and tickets with lots of hours of work with overtime every month. It was never any different; the accomplishments are much more fulfilling as well!!..... and yes, I worked this much: 2 jobs with school, and my family can vouch for it b'c sometimes they wouldn't see me for more than a week, never home.
