just some very warning- Make sure your headlights are all the way on !! I got a ticket saturday night, because i had just my parking lights on, and forgot to turn the switch all the way when i left the lot !! ---i honestly forgot--- but the son of a B*tch gave me a ticket anyway !!

Hey man it's not just P town try doing that at the ocean front.
Bet you made it alot farther down the street in P town than yu would there.
Hell one liscence plate light was out and I got the 3rd degree at the beach.
Searched and everything else.
Funny thing is P town never gave anybody a hard time for little shit/modds untill all the hellians started acting like asses.
All in all if you ain't doing what is right then you are supseptable (I know thats spelled wrong for sure) to get a ticket. Anywhere!!!

Watch what you say about Ptown cops there skippy!!!! It's your fault for not turning on your lights like you are supposed to. I tend to agree with Midnight GSI that if the fucktards at Ames wouldn't act like idiots all the time then we wouldn't have the problems there that we do.

 

you have to understand by being at that lot you (we) draw extra attention to yourself, and therefore are subject to more scrutiny than if you were leaving some other parking lot.

...that being said, I do agree that he could have let you off with a warning...

 

ya, i know its my fault, but an honest mistake. two cops pulled me over and kept me their for 30 minutes. He could have at least pulled me over and told me to turn them on all the way

 

no problem, i would have been on my way. and they could go about protecting the city from other dangerous lighting hazards that they trained so hard for !!!

every time you get issued a ticket the state makes some money. and dont police officers have to meet a ticket quota each month? so why should he have given you a break?

 

Everyone makes little mistakes like that, and I dont think you should have got a ticket at all. He should have asked you to turn your lights on- problem solved. That is considering that you were being polite and respectful, because if you weren't I would have gave your ass a ticket too

It's all good tho, because what goes around comes around, and jackasses never make it too far in life.
