State Inpection rules....

When you take your car for a state inspection, do they check to see if you have a cat? I've been thinkin' about getting rid of mine and running a straight midpipe. Thanks!

Yes it will fail, not to mention getting caught on the street without one = big fines

keep the cat on when on the street. when you go to the track (only place HP should matter) put in a test pipe.

they legally have to check to see if all emissions equipment from that year car are "intact", not necessarilly operational. ::cough:: gut that bit ::cough::
