They wont due to business practices unfortunately. PVO (now called srt) wanted to make the srt-4 AWD, in fact there is a set up done for it, but never installed (based on jeep liberty AWD). This is all because of the big money top of the chain guys. They (DaimlerChrysler) have a large stake in mitsu, around a 33% ownership, and the AWD srt-4 would only compete for sales with the EVO, so they will never do it.

From what I hear, very very comparable.

 

On the highway I'm sure an SRt4 would rape an Evo.

 

Race a black one, it was like a ganb bang. in 2nd pulled 1 1/2 cars off the punch and kept on pulling, i think he was stock so it wasnt a fair race.

From a stop the STi and Evo take SRT4's no problem (stock). However the other day, from a 40-45mph roll I raced a Silver Evo, and we stayed a bit even I was slowly pulling, I am stock, I dunno if he was or not. Our cars are very good from rolls. Ilikeitalot.
