So whats the law with the Neon Lights
Today me and my friends were in Va beach on the ocean front. we say a van with neon lights around the license plate get pulled over and got a ticket. I was just making sure, neon lights are only illegal outside the car right.

Unless they came on your car when your car was purchased from the dealership, they are in some way illegal.

from what has been told to me, all neons are illegal as long as you car is in motion/on the road
certain parking lots are ok

there illegal anywhere if your moving. my friend got pulled over in his neighborhood for having them on and he was only a couple hundred feet from his house. the cop took all of his shit at the court case.they are a waste of money.

I think the underbody neons look good as long as you hide the bulbs well. But you're right, they are all illegal if you're moving. You can get away w/ them if you're parked in a p-lot.
