Why? I got a Sig P229 for about $800 used. I'd rather spend extra money and get a quality gun

Yeah this dicks on TIdewater.

I had a good experience at the armory on Indian River; respectful, smart folks and excellent price...$670 for a new SIG 9mm 226 w/DAK/Tacrail/2 15round clips.

That's almost exactly the setup I have, minus teh Blackwater part. I paid $450 for it used with 3 15 Round Clips and 3 sets of custom Grips.

The XD is a good weapon, yes. But a Sig is superior.

It's a comparison similar to a Corvette and a 911 GT2. They're both great cars, but one is better.
