that lightweight aluminum shift knob just moves a little too fast for him. aftermarket shift knobs arent for amateurs!

Stupid asses. Wish I knew why he started spinning. And no, a misshift is not a reason to start spinning.

 

If he was at the top of 3rd at around 7k rpm and he shifted into 2nd the motor wouldnt instantly spin up to 10k+ rpm, it would start overreving yes but there would be a whole lot of engine braking going on. If he let out the clutch out (and probably backed off the gas) it would result in the drive wheels losing traction.

 

On a FWD....effectively like hitting the brakes real hard. Never heard of anyone spinning due to hitting the brakes hard on a straight road.

these cars dont have abs, only some do but as far as i know his doesn't. You guys are asuming a lot of things btw, road is a country road, most of those are kinda tilted. Ok so you misshift lots of engine braking, he probably smashed the brakes and lost control.

So not only did he misshift but he broke his shifter ahahah i wihs i could see half of you guys do this and have complete control of your car. Mis-shift yes is his fault for sure. The rest is just bad luck
