Ok ... so everytime I wanna go out to eat with someone ... I always draw a blank on where I want to go and end up at like Red Robin or something.

When im not hungry, and not going out I always think about somewhere I should of gone.

Anyone have a place thats not really a secret, but something that wouldnt usually pop up in your head at first, and whats good there.

TINES (inside Crown Plaza hotel in Va Beach) is just AMAZING. It also helps knowing the head Chef. Not to many people would even think to go into a hotel to eat, but its rather nice ... and the food is some of the best ive ever had.

4 Cities Shrimp - has huge jumbo shrimp stuffed in a baggett* roll with a cream sauce .... SO FUCKING GOOD!!!
Spiniach Dip is probally the best around (that ive tasted, and I try it everywhere I go)
The Delmonico steak all seasoned up the way he does is probally the best steak ive ever had in my life as well.

(I didnt make this thread to promote TINES, just to see where everyones spot that isnt well known, and what they get ... whats a good choice when picking somewhere to go eat when your not by yourself)


So post 'em up ... where do you go other than the big resturant chains

have you tried HK on the Bay? It is basicly another hells kitchen, but a bit different ambiance.

For me, i have to say No Frill Grill, and Dog-n-Burger in Ghent for lunch
