Those things were a pain in the ass if they took a picture and you were near the camera. I remember the flash from one of them, i thought i was back in Nam

god dammit. i've gotten really halfass lately about trying to stop if that yellow light tempts me.

i think the 30 day warning period is kinda funny, its not a new law its just a new way of enforcing it

good ...they should have never took them down...that BS about "invasion of privacy" crap was dumb...if your not running red lights, than they wont be paying attention to you...

great, they put it at the intersection where 3-4 people make it through the light in the turn lane.

And also gonna put one at Va Beach and Independence, where at certain times, the light for people on Va Beach Blvd lasts for 5 seconds.

Nevermind that the last time VA did this they stopped it after 10 years because the study found that it made intersections significantly more dangerous when people learned that those intersections had cameras. That's ignoring the evidentiary and privacy issues they pose.

BTW, Spawn, would it be okay if the police put a camera in every room of your house? You shouldn't mind as long as you aren't doing anything illegal, right? Not saying cameras at intersections are comparable, just pointing out how worthless the "if you're not doing anything illegal..." argument is.
