Looking to play soccer in Hampton/Newport News area. Haven't played in many years. I have no idea where to look, but I am trying to find something strictly recreational to get back into it. Any assistance would be great.

might have to be put on a waiting list or "looking for team" list... but thats the only league i know of.

yeah i just signed up for a summer league through varush, but saturday was the last day to pay if you want to play in the first couple of games, the first game is this weekend i believe. idk if you will still be able to sign up or not. also, theres a league called PAA (phillips athletic association i think?), idk if they have an adult league though. im pretty sure it stops at u-18. all i know is if your half way decent at soccer you will rape in some PAA, its verrrry recreational. also, im not sure if there is a summer league going on for them. if you are too late for varush try back in the winter (like november ish? cant remember) they have a winter league (they have a league every season) but thats if you feel like playing soccer at 8 in the morning when its cold as shit and the ground is frozen. its fun some times. but that only happens near the end of the season when it really gets cold.
