The bar is just a nice place to go if its cold outside, cause you all aint comming to my house.

 

If you really wanna hang out outside, you just have to keep it to places that were made for the public like Mt. Trashmoore. When it comes to business, you're gonna get ran out of the parking lot for the most part. Starbucks has been the only place I've seen where people don't get ran out, mostly because everyone usually gets a coffee or something from them.

 

If it is open to the public, then why would it be for a 21 and up crowd?

If that bar owns the parking lot, then permission could be granted to use it. If it is not owned by the bar, then the same problem will be encountered and you're back to the beginning.

 

the cops that kick us off of parking lots are doing it either because someone complained or because they simply can, and because they have the power they do it without thinking. the cops that really care are cool with it, there has been more than one occasion where a cop or 2 have rolled up to the lot to make sure we werent doing anything stupid and just chilled there with us. later on they would leave and tell us to be safe.

 

Actually, they can't unless you're breaking a law.

 

Us being in the parking lot = Loitering and tresspassing private property
Loitering and tresspassing = illegal shit
which means we WILL get kicked out if we DO NOT have permission to be there. SUX? Yes it does but it's a fact.

True. All I'm trying to say, and I know you've been trying to as well is that this is not a movie where we can all have a "strike" and get a spot. And even if we do, it will take a while. So all we have to do is stay out of trouble and try to find the way to meet up at an adequate place without causing any problems because that's what the authorities will look for. Problems.
If you come up with ideas, post it up and maybe we can all come to an agreement and have a good time. But make sure is not something stupid like; "well maybe we can go and strike right in front of the police station" or some dumb ass shit like that.

 

Well what if we have a meet during the day on a weekend and do it at a city park? A lot of the car and bike clubs meet on saturdays and drive down to Munden Park here in pungo... I think the problem with the spots is mostly because we try to meet up at night. It makes people think that we are all doing illegal shit because it is late. If we could have a meet during the day one saturday out of every month or more then I am sure the cops wouldnt bother us about it as long as they dont see anything they consider reckless or against the law.

 

People meet up at night because thats when most people aren't working...and the racing. Doing it during the day eliminates a lot of the people that work.
