Anything 20 over is reckless. And it's not prepayable, so you're gonna have to go to court. And since you're a juvenile, you're going to have to be accompanied by a parent. Best thing to do is to go there and plead your stupidity. Sorry Charlie.

Where did you get the ticket at?

try to knock it down to just a speeding, get your car calibrated(sp) and hopefully it will be atleast 2mph off.I mean a speeding ticket is a hell-of a lot better than a reckless.

Like blah said, anything 20 over is reckless and the ticket will say reckless instead of just speeding. Reckless tickets require you to go to court, and since you are a juvenile you will have to go to court with your parents on any ticket you get.

Go to driving school.
Get your calibrated.
Get a lawyer.
Pray.

Have fun. Tickets aren't cheap. It cost me my license.

your parents have to be there with you if you go becuse you are a minor. it is probley maditory for you to be in court as well... and most likely will loose your lic for a few months as well.

20 over is not exactly reckless.

Even though VA law say it is, if the officer physically writes "speeding" then its speeding. Its only reckless if it says "reckless driving."

Your welcome.

yes....the ticket says speeding....75-55 posted....

no mention of reckless....

and the box is checked that says u may avoid coming to court blah blah blah

so im thinking 75 in a 55 is not reckless because he stated i have about 3 options about going to court....he did not state them but only said that...i got pulled behind first team honda it was a portsmouth cop

normally 75 in a 55 IS reckless, but if the cop is nice, then he'll give you speeding instead.

you just got lucky.

but my only real concern is can i prepay the ticket and just pay the 100 some odd amount it will cost me....

does anybody know the amount it costs per MPH to pay it off...

if i can do that(becuase it does not state reckless driving on the ticket) then i will just prepay it and be done...

wat do i need to go to court for....wtf am i gonna say...i was speeding and got pulled....my mistake...ill pay for it instead...no need to go to court...its pointless...i have nothing to plea
