Seed is... is far from Punk or Ska IMO. They are more like a low-end The Roots.

there not hard enough for me i like harder music, but they arent bad . they opened for story of the year a couple weeks ago.

Cogan's is lame now and doesn't do music anymore. I guess they, in true punk form (as a nod to SLC Punk-not a GREAT movie, but illustrated this): grew up, realized the market, and did what they had to do to keep business going in that spot of town. Ghent's been cleaning up quite a bit I think, and Cogan's did about the same.

i saw them open up for kittie and mudvays, which i have no idea why, but they were booed off by all the metal heads.
