Yes, my mom was pulled over for tint on her CTS. It measured at 16%.

 

wait i though 35% tint was legal if you had it all the way around. because my boy has 35% on the front and 20% on the back and he still meets legal limit.

 

take a picture of a car like yours with no tint and take it in with you they will drop EVERYTHING(including court cost) but DON'T GET CAUGHT AGAIN cause they won't be as nice about it in court






EDIT: oh and the legal limit now is 50% all the way back (unless its a van or SUV with stock 20%

 

0% windshield; 50% front side glass ; 35% rear side glass; 18% rear window is legal.

agreed 50% all the way around. I just got a tint ticket a week ago, in hanover it was $86, got one in norfolk a couple months ago and it was $92. They are prepayable.

 

^ well if you get 50% on your front glass u might as well not get any tint at all i mean 50% is mainly nothing. and 18% on the back is legal wow.


im planning on getting 5 on my front 2 and back 2 and on my rear. does anybody know what that would equal too or even legal.
*my friend has had his rsx for about a year and he has 5 all the way around and has never been givin a ticket for tint.

ive had my windows register 4% on both a state troopers meter and a Stafford County Sheriff. just pay the ticket and keep it dark. mine are $92. pay it and keep going. its the price to have a modified car.

sucks about the tickets though. thats the only trouble i get into with my car though.

 

there are ways out of the tickets but you have to be careful
