Priority Honda: Now Hiring
What's the sales environment like there? I used to work at a VW dealership, and it was terrible. I got hired on with a crowd of three other new guys, and all of us left in less than three months, disgusted at the way they did business. They gave us training that didn't help and made us pay for it, they didn't give us any leads (we had to be aggressive and take ups as our only source of income), and all the phone calls went to one person, who would in turn give them to a female salesperson who he was clearly having an affair with. Management sucked and there were only two people there you could turn to for help, and you couldn't really ask them either, because they were out for themselves and would try to get you to split your deal with them. Maybe those were unusual circumstances, or maybe that's the norm, I don't know. But I'm reluctant to ever work in a sales environment again because of things like that...

I didn't get that experience when I sold at CF Toyota. People were probably more helpful to me though because I knew everyone there since I had worked there prior to moving into sales. I even had one salesman help me through an entire sale, and didn't even ask for a split.
