If I may recommend (thanks to Topless350Z having a similar thing just happen), get it quoted and see if it can be repaired without insurance first, better for both of you...his premiums go up, your car value goes down (it gets reported to Carfax and such).

 

oh ya no doubt, insurance wont be playing a roll. my boy will hook me up on a re-spray of the bumper for like dirt cheap. he already told me he'd re-do my front bumper, mirrors, and hood for ungodly cheap.
