that's what i was thinking. I was thinking about having my dad take it backfor me and have him say that he got it for me for my birthday and it didn't work but i couldn't find the recipt.

To prevent future instances like this, I know Gamestop has a $3 scratch warranty you can get on any game. If it stops working, bring it in, they give you a new one. And I think any game store should have something to help the scratch.

I use a car buffer and some polishing compound. Ive been able to fix scratches that those video store things couldnt. All you do is put some compound on the game. Hold the buffer between your legs and sping the cd on it. then buff untill it works. All your doing is removing a little bit of the clear acrylic that is covering the data film.
