I work at Providence Computers; we fix everything that can be fixed. 382-7768..we are located on the outside line of va beach in ches, our fee is 59.00 hr, not if it is your ac plug adp then it will be about a 3-4 hr job, because we have to disassemble the whole laptop and solder the new connector. .My suggestions would be its time for a new laptop lol Oh yeah a new other motherboard can run from 300-600$, thats if the company still makes it. Any other questions pm me

I think fixing it is going to cost at the very least $250. The thing is if you dropped it and it could of broke more than just the ac plug adp. Won't know until the laptop is taken apart. I have already talked to you about this but if it's an older laptop then I would just replace it.

yep, we have a lot of computer that the problem is the connector came unsolder, we had one last week that the fuse under it got damaged and the customer said don't worrie about it and told us to keep it. Anything can break, if you want you can take it apart but be careful not to lose anything..bring it to my shop and show me or one of the techs, we would tell if you it can be fixed or not...My name is Troy im the laptop dude, but I dont solder Techs Steven and Nathan solder. Steve and I work 2-8 M - F 10-6 S

the amount of money you'll pay to get it fixed, you are better off buying a newer updated laptop.
