Parking regulation ?, distance from hydrant in Hampton
Whats the regulation for parking distance from a fire hydrant in Hampton? My friend got a parking ticket for supposedly parking in a "fire lane" in front of my house in a residential neighborhood. Being from NY the rule was like 20 feet minimum, whats the deal around here? Thanks guys

Woah, that cop was really off base, he must hate f-bodies
My friend parked in the wrong direction and was ticketed 20 bucks for that, fine, we both thought it was legal around here but apparently not, no big deal. I guess he wanted to make his trip worthwhile or something and tack on 50 bucks for parking in a "fire lane" when there is no such indication or signs stating so. Just a hydrant on the corner in a very typical residential neighborhood. My friend was parked well over 15 feet, really more like 100.
