Hands down the best New York style pizza in Hampton Roads. Service is so-so sometimes but the food is definitely worth it. I highly recommend getting an order of garlic knots for an appetizer; they are not on the menu but will make them if you ask.
Price:
About $20/person with appetizer and a couple beers.

This is a really great Puerto Rican Restaurant. The food is really good there. To me the best Puerto Rican food in the area. It's nice and cozy on the inside. Friendly people. Check it out!

This Sal's is the only Sal's that you should go to. I know you see alot of them but this one is different and the only one I go to. The pizza is EXCELLENT! I think it's better then authentic New York pizza! It's been proven! They got some great philly steak subs too. Just an all around good place. Gotta try it!

Best place to get sushi if you are a fan. Great regular dining with hibachi tables. Hibachi chefs are funny as hell but make sure you bring some money. May seem high priced but worth it. Also on Thurs thru Sat. you may want to make some reservations cause it gets pretty packed. Also they got a full bar so you can get any drink you want.

Went there last Saturday and was very impressed. First thing I noticed was the atmosphere, the dim lighting is perfect for a romantic dinner. There is a lot of life and energy, it isn't library quiet like many upscale restaurants. The wine selection is awesome, I had one of the "flights" where is you sample three of their wines. They have a woodfire grill, open kitchen, and an Antipasto Bar with over 50 items to choose from. The steak I had was wonderful, and it wasn't even filet mignon. A+

No offense but that place is garbage.
I tried De Rican and the food was pretty good. Service was a bit on the bad side, but the food made up for it.

My only complaint was that our waiter was kind of slow and I had to remind him not to reach across my plate. The food came in a timely manner and was scrum-diddly!
