Norfolk cop shot and killed
On 28th & DeBrees, about 3/4 from my house. It was a rookie cop who was doing a traffic stop. The guy shot him in the face.
Be on the the lookout for:
Black Male
shoulder length dreadlocks
200+ lbs
5'9"-6' tall
Dark green jeep cherokee w/ license plate ending in 7775.
I was stopped twice walking to 7-11 today. Cuffed and questioned, but I can understand why. Please be on the lookout and my condolences to the family.

Dark green huh? must've been what I caught the tail end of earlier. I listened to the chase on the radio at HQ, mass units from all districts.
As far as I could tell, even some of the brass jumped in a car.
They lost the car near the BLVD.
Pulled and surrounded the wrong car.

Just curious can u explain what happened when they cuffed and questioned you? Im assuming if they thought u were the guy they didnt just calmly come over and ask you to stop.
Actually, they both pulled by, flicked the siren and asked me to stop. I did (I've been through this before), told them that I was carrying a licensed concealed weapon. The ODU cop asked me a couple of questions, and then let me go on my way. The Norfolk cop cuffed me as they relieved me of my weapon, and then sat me in the back of the cop car (with the door open) and asked me some questions. After they determined who I was, that I had a legal weapon that hadn't been fired recently, and that I wasn't the guy who they were looking for (about 15 minutes), and didn't have any warrants, they let me go and asked me to please be vigilant. I said sure, expressed my condolences and went about my way.
