bennigans is like right in front of lynnhaven mall. another good restaurant that i've never been to but heard it was good is steinhilbers (i know i spelled that wrong!).

 

I definately recommend The Melting Pot for a birthday dinner. Excellent atmosphere, and a kickass experience if you've never been there.

Where is melting pot? What kind of food do they serve?

i've been to steinhilbers (i think we spelled it right) by thalia.. wayyy too fancy and expensive. a few months ago i went to this place in old towne portsmouth, by harbor tower (?) and the marina. i think it was called the pier, it was soooooo nice. had a bar in the front portion for getting fucked up and having a good time, then nice quiet dinner atmosphere in the back. i very much recommend it for guys looking to impress a girl

 

pf changs and the cheesecake factory are great. cheesecake factory is a lil pricey, but dam good food.

 

i took my girl there last saturday night... 2 hours of waiting, 70 bucks for the meals. Was good but wasnt too impressed, but your girl will love you for it. If you go here, i recommend calling in advance to put your name on the list.

 

Plaza Azteca is always a winner, olive garder, tgi fridays, applebees, kellys tavern... etc

 

where is cheesecake.. the only one i know is next to me in mcarthur and they dont serve dishes
