This is true. I am currently in the 903 building in the E72 department.
The reason for the CVN-21 project is to cut the navy's men by like 20% and still having a better design than any other ship. I read about it already.
They plan to do more with less money and make a ship that will me more efficient than any other carrier in its class.

They have been desgining CVN-21 way before January of this year moron. What do you think the whole concept was that started it, or for redesigning anything for that matter. To make it better, cheaper. They wouldnt start designing the new generation of carriers over halfway into building the last nimitz class. Use your fucking brain - it takes a little longer to design a NEW ship.

Everyone who works at the shipyard can tell you JUST started working there - and I bet people who hate me can even vouch on that.
