I just ordered a 2006 Toyota Tacoma double cab V6 4x4 TRD sport (speedway blue) for a daily driver. I wasn't too crazy about the factory wheels but I like these three wheels: Volks TE37X (Yes, they make them for trucks), Weld Dune and Cheyennes. Anyone have any experience with these wheels? I think the bronze or a gold wheel might look good with the blue. I am still getting a sports car but needed a truck for towing and general hauling. Thanks for any suggestions

# 2 no doubt they are lookin nice. I would say # 1 but the truck doesnt have anything with a hint of gold. I love that truck I use to love driving them around at priority.

The Volks come in Bronze (not quite gold). I would prob have a few mods with a color scheme to match whichever wheel I choose. I'm anal about that crap. I need to see the Cheyennes in person as I normally don't like a chrome wheel. This truck drives exceptionally nice. I was pleasantly suprised.....and it'll tow 6500lbs.

 

haha hell yea this truck is a blast to drive it got me into some trouble workin at priority oh well, driving it for a little while you dont feel like your in a truck anymore.

 

Congrats on the purchase. Speedway is most definately my favorite color on the 05-06 tacos.
Anyway, out of those 3, I think I would go with the Welds. But, IMHO I think a black wheel would make for good contrast with the Speedway Blue.

 

That's a great looking truck! I was a a bike show in Long Beach that Toyota partially sponsored and I got to really check one of those out. They're awesome and have plenty of towing capacity to pull a car and trailer.

 

You wouldn't know anything about getting in trouble with cars at work, would you?
