You're running the TC Kline coilovers, right? I've read a lot of good things about those on these cars (been hanging out on forums reading about MCs since they were released in late '98...). Which spring rates are you running front and rear? It will be awhile before I can afford a set of these, but it's my 2nd mod, behind Randy Forbes subframe kit and some IE subframe bushings.

Thanks for everyones welcome and comments on the car. My bad on posting in the wrong place...
As you can tell, everyone here absolutely loves me.

I take it you've seen me over on bimmerforums (Purv944), which is pretty much the only other forum I go to. You car has crazy low miles on it. What color did you get? Any pics?

For the rear sub-frame, do you plan on taking a trip at Ohio or are you going to try to find a local place to do it? I've talked to Dave at DP Motorwerks and he said that he could do it. Me, personally, I put the IE subframe bushings in it pretty early in it's life and I'm gonna bend it till it breaks or I go FI; whichever comes first. For suspension, I love my TCK coil-overs. Get yours and drive it around for a couple of weeks and then I'll let you drive mine. You'll be whipping out your credit card that evening , it's that big of a difference. After talking to Pete at TCK for an hour one day, I have 450# springs up front and 400# in the back, which he recommended since I daily drive mine on 19"s.

And if you have to choose between Summit Point and VIR, go VIR. It's like a country club with a loop of asphalt around it; in the summer it's goregous up there.

My exhaust is a custom Magnaflow set up. I'm letting it go because I'm starting to take more long trips and they're starting to get annoying while I'm trying to talk on the phone. I'm going with Remus as a replacement and I'll sell you mine, complete cat-back, for like $150 just to get it out of my garage.

Just don't buy Blah's HRE's...........they are starting to fracture and he just puts bondo in the cracks. I almost ran over a metal chunk that flew out his left rear wheel.

Mine is Arctic Silver with all black interior and no sunroof. I have driven it extensively since November of '99 since a family member is the previous owner, so I'm pretty familiar with it already.

I know Dave from DP Motorwerks very well. He's a good buddy of mine. I hang out at his shop regularly (when not working at the Flag) and go to the race track, etc. I drove at VIR with Chin Motorsports in December - so much fun! I really want to get an old E30 and daily drive that/track it (and slowly build a SpecE30 car like Dave's). I'm not sure what is involved with Randy's kit, but if it involves welding, I'm going to take it to Dave Ellingsworth. I can't remember the name of his shop - it's right around the corner from Dave's.

I'd really like to see your car and ride in it sometime. Let me hear those Magnaflows before you take those off, too. I'm not sure I want to cut the stock exhaust - I was thinking of going with Eisenmann, but I haven't heard any aftermarket exhausts on a coupe before. Magnaflows seem to be a pretty popular setup.

This might be going too far off topic - I'll move my questions about your car to PM.

Ideally, I'd like to run 18X8.5 F and 18X10 R BBS LMs...I don't know if I'll ever be able to bring myself to pay that much for wheels, though. I had BBS RKs on my last car...loved them, so we'll see.
