I think it's a general feeling of most car enthusiasts that Automatics are lacking, for one reason or another. We may joke about it, but it's all in good fun. We know people have their reasons for owning autos (commuting, age, money/choice constraints) and that's fine. I personally drove an auto for 3 years, until my GTI...so you really have no angle at all to comment to me about that.

So yes, you are being a dick, for no reason. Chill the fuck out.

 

Sorry for getting all pissed off in my other post, but im just tired of getting shit for having an auto. It really pisses me off when the usual riced out civic starts talking shit and thinks he can beat me cuz they have 5 speed and i dont.

And I will definitely agree with you on that one, I dont like having an auto, which is why I am in the process of converting my car to a 5 speed as we speak. And i got my car because, it was low mileage and when i got it 3 years ago I got a really really good deal on it. I paid a little less than half of whats it was worth.

 

 

turbotalon95, it's all good, I have nothing against auto's, except if they are dicks on the road, then i dislike them.

If i were in a big city, i would take a auto over a 5 speed anyday, but the fact is, Franklin is not a big city.

 

auto's are gay unless built right.... i know i wont complain on the stock hp and toque a turbo 400 can hold

nothing beats Boost + Stall + AWD

Ssup. You should move the post to the general discussion, you might get mad responses from the eclipse owners up here. There's a bunch of gst's and gsx's registered but they don't post up here too often and i don't know if any of them live near you. There's a lot of eclipses around here (Chesapeake/Va Beach) including a few gst's and gsx's.

BTW, i drive a gs but i will be able to turbo soon
