Been in VA Beach for a couple years now, grew up in Gloucester. Drive two cars that I care to be caught in, 86 Crown Vic and 73 Celica, both very modded, neither are extremely fast (Celica is faster of course!). Peppy for sure, but I wouldn't call em rocket ships. I do road course track events for my hobby. Used to drive the Crown Vic on the track and put some shocking looks on some faces while I was, but I wanted to be able to keep up in the straits more, and be able to own better in the turns, so I went way smaller and way older. Now the Vic is my tow vehicle for the Celica, and for fun around town cruising.

Yep, does quite well actually. With the final gear change and the extra power from the engine swap, it doesn't even stress over it. It helps that the total trailer + car weight is only 3700lbs.

 

Yea man, you seem like a legit new member unlike all the other shitheads that come on here. Great drift pictures in both of your cars. I dont know if you do autocrosses, but you should check it out. I'll either be in a 1979 civic cvcc or an acura integra. So come up and introduce yourself, I wanna check out the celica. Im sure my dad would like it too.

 

Haha, this forum is funny man. There are so many haters is amazing!! But there are definitely a lot of cool people on here. I'll probably head out to an autocross some time, but the Celica will do terrible with the welded diff, and the Vic will brake a wheel if I do an autocross (trust me on that), so I'll just be there to watch.
