What's a Smog Pump?

 

it helps the cat burn off more of the crap it's supposed to by pumping fresh air into the exhaust but at the same time raises backpressure... hence the need to remove it... you have one on yours too, anything 3rd gen and newer does in f-bodies I believe

 

Is it usually called a "carb canister" or something on Hondas? Or a charcoal canister..or something along those lines

 

sounds like a good setup. You usually start breakin stuff when you use the giggle juice. Make sure all your ends are coverd. It will find the weak spot in your engine setup real fast if your not set up to run nitrous (Internals).
