punch a hole in the pan..throw a flange on it. and RTV the bitch......

no but seriously.....when i did mine...all i did was drill a whole in the pan one size smaller than my fitting..then i ran a tap through it, screwed the fitting in, and put RTV(sealer) around the outside of the fitting where it enters the oil pan..(no leaks) Mine worked great....never had one problem.

if it was steel i could understand why you couldn't tap it yourself... why not aluminum? It's softer so it seems it would be easier.

whatever you do...do not drill the pan with it on the car still unless you want metal shavings in your oil...punch the hole with a air hammer and a specialized bit then tap it,put the fitting in it and rtv the sucker.that's how i have done the dozen or so cars i have done.as for being straight, and lined up...it's only gravity fed return style line...get it close and it will be fine.
