Need Ideas For B16

Alright i just got a 89 si crx and i wouldn't mind some help or info on where there are shops that can do work on the engine and not rip me off if anyone knows of any put in a reply.

i am buying the motor in 2 months i just need some ideas or reccomendations of internals and externals and choices of brand name stuff

Why do so many people say to use stock internals? Cast internal parts are brittle and why not go aftermarket (forged) if you plan on spending the money anyway?
