You seem dense so I'll lay it out in simple terms.
Is 20whp worth $400?
Maybe but as mentioned, sure you can get a set of cams or long/mid length headers for $400 used but then you're looking at another (at minimum) $600 to $1000 to get them installed.
So is 20whp worth $1000? Not so much. And I'm sure as fuck not going to try to install cams in my garage on a modular motor.
As Toocool said, it's been proven about 400 times that mid and long tube headers are basically worthless on stock or mildly modified 2v motors. If you're planning to go s/c at some point in the near future then they would be the last mod I would do after I put on the s/c.
Cams are the same way. On a mildly modified motor, they're not worth the time nor expense.

I work at Kool Ford across the bay. Its a drive but we can get the full line of Ford Racing Parts, everything from complete engines to headers to mustang badges and stickers. We can get most anything within a day, superchargers are built to order so they take a little longer.
