Whats up everyone.I am looking to get my wife an alarm with remote start for her 2002 trailblazer.
I went to a couple places and they want between 500 to 700 for it.Is there no place cheaper or someone with a hook up.Please help if you can.I want to try to give it to her for Christmas.
It does not have to be installed by then but I want an appointment atleast.

well my friend. i can get you an alarm around $500, with warranty, and MAYBE installed by christmas. but you need to PM me asap. time is crucial.

if you weren't on a limited time frame I ordered my Viper(791XV) 2 way alarm w/remote start off of ebay for $200 shipped... sure the price is about the same still... and had a guy that worked at a shop install it for $150 on his own time.... granted I guess it isn't warrantied like it would be from a shop but for half price I'm willing to take that chance...

 

i can get the best viper alarm best buy sells for $177 but that doesnt include installation. intallation is about another 100 bucks. so for around 300 to 350 i can get you one. normall price on that alarm is like 437 bucks i think and that comes with keyless entry, alarm and remote start.

 

How about just remote start?

Where d oyou work at.Do you install them for a living.
The guys I talked to said that I would have to have extra modules because of it being a trailblazer and the computer stuff with the car.
Where are you located also?

 

i work at the chesapeake best buy. the modules your talking about are the 555l or 555u and those are like 49.99 im not sure what my price is on them but im sure its about half that.
