LOL, I'm an idiot. Anyway I got a wastegate and swapped it out. It helped fix the problem a little bit, but I'm still getting a terrible boost leak. I can't figure this shit out.

i already did a full pressure test. kron1c, thanks but i already found a bov to swap out, and i'm pretty sure thats not it. I've changed the throttle body / intake mani, all vacuum lines a couple couplers put a t-bolt clamp on the weak spots, check all the piping and still nothing

I doubt this would be it, but you think there'd be any leaks in the weld job on the intake mani? No exhaust leaks right? I don't recall hearing any. I've heard of cracked compressor housings as well... ever pin point that faint hissing I/we heard at Leo's that night, near the firewall?

Yeh. When i extended the brake booster line and tightened it down that hissing went away. I'm pretty sure the turbo is done. I've replaced / changed everything else.

edit: I've been waiting for an excuse to get a new turbo anyway. So much for hitting 11's on the 16g but oh well.

check for any pinholes or anything in your filter to turbo intake pipe if you still run the 1g or 2g maf..

did that too. even swapped maf's / filters out. I'm pretty sure it's the turbo. How bout I get you that manifold, and get your 4 bolt 02 flanged cut / welded, to make this deal go thru? I'll even help you take the old one out / install the new setup. Are you going to be using the same wastegate?

Wow whadda pain. Hope you get that figured out. So the 16G's gone now... I guess that means you'll be slower, eh?
