Need help with AVC-R
Can anyone with experience with an Apexi AVC-R help me out?
I was told to do this:
Basically all you have to do is get the unit to learn your duty cycle setup, then you can modify the settings from there including target boost and start duty per gear. Start by reinitializing the unit to default, set the number of cylinders to 4, then go into “Duty Cycle” and set the target boost value to 1.0Kg/cm^2 and the duty cycle value to 55%. Now go do a few 3rd gear pulls and the system will learn the correct curve. Once it learns the duty cycle value should say "***" meaning it was set by the system.
but I made sure that my avc-r was set to gear learning O (not the X), set the boost to 1.0kg/cm² w/ 55% duty cycle and did a couple of 3rd gear pulls. The problem is that I can't get the duty cycle to say "***" or basically I don't think its learning. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to only allow 3rd gear to be learning or all?
