I love my job...wouldn't give it up for anything. Now if I could just finish up 10 more years in NAVY reserve I'd have retirement.All the reserve unit are combat ready fwd.deploy 10yrs of that already...no thanks. I need a desk IT job for Navy Reserve, anyone on here NAVY RESERVE? I'm currently in MIUWU206. My contract expires this January so I'm looking for a better billet. I'm ET1(SW) if that helps, im GCCS-M, ADNS, NAVMACS, all the former DS NEC's I have them all. Hook a 10yr squid up so I can get that retirement!

 

Does your job transfer to the Air Force... you could go Air Guard too.

 

Im pretty sure it does. I'm an all around IT Admin/Hardware/Installs/Analyst I've done them all in and out of the NAVY. Got a hookup?

Yeah that's what I did before. I'm just trying to see if anyone local in the RESERVE any military branch has a hookup or an open billet that I can slide into first.
