Yeah no shit. I had my first car broken into TWICE about 6 years ago and they never would try for any prints.

 

Well did a good deed with a kid who got hit in the parking lot by a car about 2 weeks ago. And the cop that came out on that was here today. So i guess i got hooked up. But yes

Nah, I'll let him figure it out on his own. Sorry to hear about your stuff, but sounds like it was not worth more than even $500, so I doubt there will be anything come of it.

 

Yeah, worst cased scenario is they get charged with a misdemeanor. Without a record, no jail time. If you find out who it was, you'll have better luck in civil court. Get receipts for the stuff if you don't have any, even if you go to CC or BB and get quotes.

 

I hope you have insurance on your stuff.
When I was Living in Italy, my father had his Mustang tranfered from the US to Italy and it was broken into on the way over there, and the entire audio system was stolen. the radio, amps, speakers, everything was gone, but he had insurance, so he jsut bought him a new and better system with the money he recieved.

 

That's smart of him to insure your upgrades, but it's uncommon enough that most people don't think to do it.
