Doc, you kinda contradicted yourself there don't ya think? First off you don't agree with dropping and bagging an Extreme, then you tell him to drop it? The reason you see so many Extremes bagged and dropped etc. is because it's the Civic SI of the minitruck world, I would say it's the Civic, but that would be the regular S-10.
The reason I said to bag it is because I have yet to see a bagged Extreme in the general area. I know of a bagged Extreme Blazer, cause we are the ones that bagged it, it's also probably the only Blazer for quite a ways with a 4-link rear setup.
All the other Extremes that I've seen rolling around in the area have the typical ricer mods (alcheezys, clear corners, rims, and stereo), if they're even beyond stock.
supa, do u go to hickory? i just saw a truck exactly like yours, even had the bug deflector in great bridge a little while ago, a old guy was driving it though

i personally think the extreme series is overated and overpriced i would rather buy a regular s-10 and use the money i saved to buy a bigger engine, better looking bodykit, rims, etc, plus that body kit adds an extra 3-4 inches of body line so when i bag my NOMA i'ld rather have the frame sitting on the ground then the bodykit and it just looks better without no fendergap and sitting nice and low but thats just my opinion nice looking truck just get that bug shield painted.
really? i did not know that. so they build the extremes differently then the regular ones? how far does the frame come down from the regular body line not the kit on the extreme? cause my frame is 3-4 inches below the bodyline so if i bought that bodykit and i bagged it, the kit would sit on the ground i believe or atleast the kit would be lower the frame. that sounds odd i figured they just took regualr s-10's and slapped on bodykits definately gonna look under a extreme one day just to make sure.
Extremes aren't any different, the body kit just doesn't hang down as far as you think, like I said there's about a 1/4" difference or so between the frame and kit, so it's close, but not laying plastic close. At least on the side skirts, that is. Trust me, we just completed baggin an X-Blazer a couple weeks ago.
ya sube's right, u lay frame on the extreme and the kit is barely off the ground. w/ a regular s10 u have to body drop it to lay rocker. personally i like the Xtreme kit better than the ones i've seen for the S10. plus the flares on the fenders and bedside acually drop the fender line about an inch, so u tuck rim even more... if you got 20s.
