I know there is a band that practices in the sotrage unit off Airport Rd. in Williamsburg.

 

5 or 6 years is forever...?

Bands I knew were doing this in the early 90s when I was in high school, and I'm sure that wasn't the first time...

 

i would try another uncle bobs in the chesapeake area (there are 3).

i think the one on volvo parkway was where i used to jam with my old band, a member of that band says they're still there.

 

didn't you see on CSI? One storage unit was used by a surgeon to perform sex changes.

i used to work in the storage business, somehow every single person thinks they are the first person to start making crystal meth out of a storage unit.....

 

probably not anymore... every band has until the 5th of april...UNLESS they havea unit that is inside...

and for the record, storage units are very common for bands to practice in. not too many other places.... we used to practice in my room but the neighbors said it was too loud...kept callin the cops...

that sucks, the majority of the units on the outside are taken by bands! (at volvo).

my old band (www.myspace.com/thereddesthearts) are inside..so thats why they're still there.

get a unit inside?

its so much nicer when it rains.

 

there's a waiting list.... a long one... 3 bands ahead of us...and when a band gets a space, they hold on to it as long as they can... *sigh*
