high 10's in a matter of months GL

 

i'm hoping to run 11's this year i still need a shortblock

 

yea im searchin for a Short block too...i already have my heads..exhaust,etc...you know any good places?

 

i built my widsor but i am looking to get my 4.6 thru VT engines. I'm not sure if they do 302's or not. http://www.vtengines.com/

 

 

im looking to move to a 331 or 347 stroker...with my mods,and some type of forced induction..im aiming for about 600rwhp.

 

5.0's stock aren't slow, for the price you can get them for, and compared to the normal cars around here you can take a good 75% of the cars you see on the street. I've raced Z28s, Civics, Turbo'd DelSols, GTIs among a few others with a fairly stock 5.0 and had no problems.

 

honestly, imo, mustangs are absolute garbage with out atleast 10k$ into them after purchace price

i hate to disagree with you here..but stock foxbodies are not that quick,and they definitely arent fast....when i had my turbo integra,i actually raced the mustang i own now,before i bought it,back when i was into hondas,and i destroyed him by a good amount of car lengths..and my car on the track only ran a 13.5...w/ a slipping clutch,and shitty kumho street tires...given,on the street,it was a high 12 second car...but now that i own it..i dont ever race it..it has a nice little torque factor in it when u hit the gas..but until i put all those mods on it..it will always be "second place" to my integra..but the fact of the matter is...mod for mod..the mustang will be faster.

in my integra i was hoping to run a mid to low 12..and now that i have something that can produce crazy power..if i run anything in the 12's,then i failed in my build.
