Default Mr2 Swap

To start with yes I searched. The thing is all the shops people talk about or recomend don't wanna do it. It's just a JDM turbo swap into my 93 turbo mr2. Pretty plain and simple. Does anyone know a specific shop in this area that is good with MR2s, or that is good with JDM engine swaps. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I asked him, and frankly hes not the most caring person to help people in the world. All he said was there are none. Couldn't even get a recomendation for any shop at all out of him. Guess Brian and I will try to do it on our own.

Actually, I was caring enough not to recommend any shops that would rip someone off by charging too much money for sub-par work.

I've got too much work right now and don't want to take on a job that couldn't get completed by summertime. I cared enough that I didn't want you to be waiting that long.

Best of luck with TPE. I'm glad you found somewhere to get it done instead of having to do it yourself.

It would be pretty difficult to find an engine combo and tranny to fit. Many have put Tacoma and Camry V6s in these chassis, but not many V8s at all.

There's really not much need to use a much larger motor, as the 3S-GTE guys can make 500+rwhp pretty easily with the right parts and tuning. Couple that kind of high rpm power with our factory 4.28:1 final drive and you have a 10 second car with sticky tires.
