I still don't get why people do the "skyline" thing. Sure its a skyline in Japan... but I bet they got it from an infiniti dealership... in: you guessed it, The US. Sure it might be preference but its just like the rice boys calling their USDM Civics Si's "SiR", or puting type R stickers on a car not equipped.

I've seen him at my work (pep boys) quite a few times, pics don't do it justice.
I understand that some people think I may be trying to make my car something it isn't...... If I had a GTR badge on it then I think it would be stupid because then I would be trying to be a twin turbo , AWD supercar.....I'm not. The only major difference between my car and a JDM car is the right hand drive and a couple of options that haven't made it to the Infiniti line yet. Engines are the same as is everything else. I just want my Infiniti to be different than any others out there. The ironic thing is the people in Japan are buying Infiniti badges and changing out there badges to make them Infiniti G35's....it's a matter of taste and preference....I'm sure there would be things about other peoples cars that I wouldn't care for.....I just don't express negative comments unless my opinion is asked. So, technically I have a Skyline GT350 (built in Japan) that has been rebadged for the US market as an Infiniti..... I can't wait for the GTR which is going to be marketed for USA and Europe in 2007. I'm saving up now....
Thanks for the compliments guys...
This is how it looks if you buy it in Japan....I didn't want to change over to Nissan emblems....cya

I have said nothing bad about your car other than badging incorrectly is tacky (yes your car is a USDM car therefore: Infinity G35) Is your car right hand drive? Is your car a JDM vehicle? No. I dont strap Honda badges all over my car. I dont put Toyota Badges on the Lexus either!
Preference is what ricers say to justify their mods. I am not calling you a ricer, its just not a Skyline. Its an Infiniti G35.

Noted....
Thanks for your frankness. I understand everyone has their own opinion....but I didn't ask for any opinions. Again, a negative comment thrown out there for no apparent reason is not the way I was raised... enough of my soapbox. I do enjoy seeing what others are doing with their cars....I have picked up many great ideas. I have found that the slightly younger guys tend to be very well informed about the current trends and ideas. I appreciate the comments and have NO problem helping others if they need it. 20 years in the Submarine Nuclear Engineering field has def' given me some decent background in different engineering principles/ideas. Take care guys...

BTW: Nice camaro Joe....saw it @ Pep Boys today....
