I may be interested in getting some 16" Borbett type E rims coated, with a polished lip. What colors can you do and could you match it close to the color of the car? If not im going black or the original silver. Any guesstimate on the price if done in a normal color?

I also have a few brackets from the engine I will need done in a gloss black. Around 2-3 aluminum parts around 8"x8"x3" in size, plus an alternator and a couple misc. small items. These items I will need for sure, the rims may wait. My camera is charging so I will send you some pics soon.
Thanks

ok guys and gals her ya go , these rims have to be the best Ive done yet , Damn they look awsome . ok here is ther story . I was pm by a fellow member about these rims. They are going on an Eclipse , so let me know what you think .here is a pic of the stock rim before I did anything to it .The next 2 pics show some road rash and you will see a before and after pics .The next pics show the rim after I bead blasted it . Normally if a powder coated rim has powder coat already on it , then you need to rought it up to have another layer of powder coat stick to it , but for what ever reason it was not working , so I had to strip them to the bare metal . The pics will tell the story .

The next pics show the multiple layers involved in stripping an average rim .The next pic shows the rim after 2 coats of stripping with chemicals. The next pic show a perfectm rim stripped down to the bare metal .The next pic shows the rim hot out out of the oven . The next 2 show the final finished rim ready to go , please notice the outer spokes , they show the detail in the work that was done. feel free to leave any comments , but please PM me with any request , and please send ma pics of what you want done .

Thanks to all in advance

Thumbs up Re: more powder coating

I must most definitely vouch for this guys work! Those pictures you saw are the rims that came off of my car. He started the job this past saturday, and were done monday. I can't even see the scratches that were on there. This guy did such a good job on my rims, it's ridiculous. I can't say enough how satisfied you'd be if you went to him for ANY powder coating work. He did my intake pipe during the weekend, and that looks good too! I will take some pictures today, and I will post them here!
