Default Looking for a ka24de head

One that doesn't have a broken exhaust header bolt. The newer the better 95 and up.

I've got a 91 w/o cams, it needs some TLC though. I do have the cam caps for it, just no cams.

Ive got a perfectly fine KA24DE head and the cams to go with. I swapped in the SR motor and junked the block because i had no room for it.

any year 91-98 head will work. unless your concern is mileage for your selection of 95 and up.

HOWEVER...IF you get a S13 ka head, make sure to get the front cam timing chain cover. They are not interchangable S13~S14.

or bring me the head, and i can extract the bolt for you.

miles and I'm pretty sure their is a difference between heads. At least the cam journals are different. On my 97 KA I added an s13 cam on the intake side 248*. I had to push in the plug on the rear of the cam because the 97 head did not have the most rear cam journal like the earlier ka's. I might have to take you up on that offer.

Danny

there is no difference in the head other than the front chain cover. (or else i wouldnt have recomended any year head)

some of the s14 heads had one less cam cap than S13's. but thats it.

Greaser,

I already got the bolt out. I tried to tap it for a new bolt and its not really working. The hole just got bigger . Tomorrow I'm going to try a bigger bolt and see if the turbo manifold will hold. If not I'll need a head. Thanks for the offer.

anyways here are some pic's of the different heads

s13 head 91-94

s14 head 95-96 looks the same as s13

s14 97-98 coun't the cam journals only 5 and that is why us kouki's have to push in the plug on the rear of the s13 cams to make them work and not spill oil every where.
