Yea the yellow Cobalt won the "A" main. But Steve won the "B" main. He also won the "A" main last week. AND took third in the Time Attacks, just 3 tenths behind me. But my carb we spewing gas everywhere. Of course, if I hadn't given him all the advice on tire pressures he's still be running mid 20's

I never knew about the $10 bet. Heck it took me so long to change tires Langly didn't pay up.... Anyway I am the only one (that I know of) that has won all 4 events:
time attacks - 8-8-07
b main- 8-8-07
a main 8-1-07
burn outs 7-25-07

Thanks for the props. I called out carlos cause I think he lifted in 2 to make a race of it, he didnt relize i missed 2nd and was pissed, and I was coming. Once I was rocking he wasnt going to beat me. In the end I won not him. Carlos is a good cat but complains and whines alot. However he IS a really nice guy and I love to remind him I even beat him last year with my FWD TSI.

Yea Dale gave me the starting air pressures, and checked up on me. If I can say onething all the guys in the pits are really good guys, we basically know each other and if someone needs air, wrench, jack, ect we all willing to help.

My biggest beef is RON or whatever fat boys name is that calls the event. Every dam video I watch he calls my truck a 4 runner or a Nissan. how hard is it to say X runner? I mean I'm almost to the point of pissed. even after I corrected him during the burn outs the very next week racing the yellow colbalt in the same race he calles it a 4 runner and a nissan. I write it on his sheet as well. anyone who goes to langley needs to request NO MORE RON WE WANT DALE!

I heard he was having issues with the ingnition (?sp?). that truck is bad ars. I hate to see it not running right.

 

Bobby's reverse lights wear on the entire final run. I hope he can get it ready by next week. That truck is bad ass.

The B main was defenetly the "A main" in my opinion this week was some really good matchups in it. Yeah that yellow cobalt was doing damn good, what tires was he rockin, it looked like he had white marks all around them, figured they wear some MT's or something. I was defenetly rootin for a cobalt on cobalt final, but yeah almost happened...

Yeah I agree he fucks your truck up every time and a few weeks ago in the burnout contest was the worst.

Yeah dale you didn't seam to be running as good as you normally do and it seamed to get worse as the night went on.

Yeah carlos is a cool guy, talked to him at VMP during NHRA. When I get my car back I think I'll take him up on that offer... Consistant 1.71 60 foots and 4.83 330 foots should easily take care of that lol

ohhhhh and whats up with the "500hp civic" lol everyyone in the stands last week and this week was talking about how it's a 500hp Civic. I'm defenetly going to throw the BS flag on that one.

Ohh and who talked the miata guy with the trailor into running in the A/B main. We wear all suprised to not see him leave after the burnout contest.

 

yeah i dunno. dale said he has been having trouble with getting the truck into the lower 18's higher 17's in the time attacks. but i know usally that dodge sounds nasty. but for some reason it just wasnt running right. i think the temp outside had something to do with it as well cuz i did notice the poor air quality did imped some times out there.

Your X-Runner sounds good though. has a nice rich tone to it and you were running really well this week. i will be in the stands next week and when i get the 240 all fixed i might give the track a run. but i will be the slowest one out there. im not about to wreck on a track that i dont know to well.

 

Honestly its not about winning its about having fun. I promise you if you come out, after your time attacks youll have so much fun you wont be able to stay away.

To the drunk guy.. fyi BE CARFUL they told us in the pits last week that hampton PD is staging around the track looking to write tickets. THey are trying to catch the scared punks who wont race on the track but feel they got something to prove on the street. I guess it was reported that people were raceing and doing burn outs while leaving the track.

The yellow colblat is running so sort of slick. I cant remember the vendor but the reason for the white lines is cause he autocross's and he is watching for tire roll over. Pretty much if you want to have a change at the win at langley now you gotta have dot approve slicks. I run 275 35 18 hoosiers a6's.
