I think its funny how people from this forum claim norfolk is soft.....but i guarantee that 9 out of 10 people on here would NOT take a trip with me to tidewater park and let me leave them alone.

ROFL. I never said it was soft. I just said its not as "hard" as you say it is.

Tidewater Park? Yea. I walked through it.
Church Street area? Worked there for a week.
Oceanair Apartments/Ocean View? Lived there for 14 years.

Really. I have family that lives in LA. try to go through some of the rougher parts of other parts of the country. Go to LA and walk down MLK Jr Blvd, Crenshaw or Jefferson....tell me Norfolk or anywhere in VA beach or most parts of VA for that matter arent nice compared to there..

Any time i can be completely unknown in an area and walk through unharmed and unspoken to i dont consider that area dangerous or "hard".Virginia Beach dosen't have an area that i cant walk through at all. I know many people in Twin Canal,Regency,Atlantis,Bridal Creek and all of green run. Im not scared to go anywhere in va beach at all. Im not scared to go anywhere period but especially not Kempsville.Afterall if its norfolk i know im not getting my car shot with a pellet gun it will be me getting shot with a real gun.
hold up, just make sure you know that I never claimed VA beach/Kempsville was hard. I grew up in portsmouth, and va beach seems like happyville compared to portsmouth, which really isn't THAT bad to begin with compared to other places.

I just wanted people to keep a lookout for these KIDS (not thugs) busting out windows .

Nowhere in Virginia is really hard until you get up to NOVA where you got those ms-13 fuckers. Other than that, NOVA isn't "hard" either. I know a few of those "CWB" members and they annoy the hell out of me. I can give you all the address of one. Some girl that is friends with my sister knows him and wants to wreck his shit, lol.

I must be getting old because I remember when people bragged about the things they had not how shitty their neighborhood is. So you’re broke down with no job and live in a crack house. Good job man, you’re really going somewhere in life.

Anyway this whole “norfolks not as hard as the east/west/north/south coast blah blah blah” is just subjective nonsense. If you want to look at actual facts Norfolk ranks in as one of the worst US cities in terms of violent and property crime.

For cities with populations of 100,000 - 250,000 for the year 2005 Norfolk ranks in at #9 twice twice as many murders, robberies, and assaults as the #10 spot held by Inglewood, California. Portsmouth comes in at #11. Hampton Roads cities had to beat out some pretty big shitholes to claim these titles. Keep up the great work guys!!!

im not trying to say kempsville is hard in any way but one of my earliest memories is when i used to live in lakeville. I was like 5 and in the backyard and i hear some sirens, then i see this dude trying to jump over our wooden privacy fence with a gun in his hand. k9's got his ass though b4 he could get in the yard. then i moved to hickory... way harder
