People kayak out at Harwood Mills park in Yorktown.

Also, down by Fort Monroe, some people kayak in the harbor there.

Depends on your experience, lakes for the begginer and move to the bay with experience. Also do you have a SOT or SIK?

I live up in williamsburg/lanexa and I go whenever I have the chance. tons of places like college creek off the parkway, the chickahominy river which is right across the street from me, several reservoirs such as Diascund up in Lanexa, and there is Waller Mill in Williamsburg. I fish out of mine sometimes also, but there are an endless amount of places to go. If you ever wanna meet up just give me a pm.

owned a few but none of now, they can be kind of gas hogs and at this time and age I kept with my b16 crx... 33mpg. Great cars however, not sure how into kayaking you are but I hear the reservoir up here leads all the way to newport news "diascund" I know it is newport new's water source so it has to lead down there. I think it would be great to do but will not venture that far alone. give me a shout whenever.
