Currently we are looking to fill two positions @ Wesco Distribution Inc.


Both positions are in my Hampton,VA location and they are Full-time/Regular Positions.



First one: Lead warehouse person.(Mini Manager)

Responsible: Shipping and receiving, deliveries (if necessary), light lifting 60lbs and under.
Need: Someone who is well organized, valid DL, good driving record, some warehouse management skills.

Pay: 24k to 32k depending on experience.
Full health care/dental/401k etc
Hours 8am-5pm M-F Weekends off and most Government holidays off.

Second one: Warehouse person/delivery driver

Responsible: Basic warehouse duties mostly deliver parts to shipyard. Including: Lifting/light cleaning/organizing selves etc.
***Must have valid DL and good driving record***

Pay: $8.00hr+ Hourly rate depending on experience.
Full health car/dental/401k too

Hours 8am-5pm M-F weekend off and most all government holidays off.

What sort of experience are they looking for for the Lead Warehouse position? Also where is this located exactly? I can't really say I have any warehouse experience at all, outside of an assistant management position I had in high school where I had to unload items from receiving into the department I worked in.

Well warehouse experience is not number one......we need at very organized individual for the position (a lot of common sense) and attention to details......very important on the details....The warehouse experience is a plus.

 

Well I'll go ahead and send my resume when I get home....all of my experience is basically biology related though, haha.

 

well damn the driving record killed me for this one.haha

 

whats a good driving record i dont have anything but a improper equipment in the past 3 years and i think i have plus 3 on the record. But before that i have ahad some issues never anything to bad never lost a license or anything like that

 

DAMN. I got 5 years of experience in a warehouse and a good driving record, but I got school this next semester :-(

 

Just like the rest of these fuckers I don't have the best driving record. I'm going to try and see what it looks like but I'll send over a resume.

Warehouse/warehouse management is all I know.
